Danielle Jeal is a Dance Educator, Writer, and Artist living in the Pacific North West. She is passionate about using movement and words to express emotions, tell stories, and inspire others.
Danielle's practice is grounded in Ryan and Deci's Self-Determination theory: cultivating autonomy, competence, and relatedness to inspire students to do their best work. In the studio Danielle brings forth these principles through fast-paced yet accessible movement sequences, frequent independent work, and by providing opportunities for dancer connections to form.
"As an educator, I am focused on articulating my students' innate artistry and then developing their technique to support their unique dance identity."
